In Prague, we saw generic urns at cremation facilities and thought: our pets deserve better. So we make beautiful, handcrafted ones instead.
Our Story
NUBE began with two people, two cats, and a shared belief that our companions deserve memorials as unique as they were.
Ksenia, a ceramic artist with years of experience in handbuilding and sculptural ceramics, brings each NUBE urn to life in her Prague studio. Her innovative techniques – from integrating natural minerals and stones into the ceramic body to creating flowing, organic forms – transform functional vessels into works of art.
Polina, with her deep appreciation for craftsmanship and love for cats, dogs and all kinds of living creatures, handles the heart of NUBE's operations, ensuring that every customer experience honors the sensitivity of this difficult time.
Together, we've created something that didn't exist when we needed it most: pet memorials that capture the profound beauty and individuality of the bonds we share with our animal companions.
Why NUBE?
NUBE means "cloud" in Spanish – those gentle, ever-present forms that drift through our skies, sometimes light and peaceful, sometimes heavy with emotion, but always there. Just like the memories of those we love.
Our pets are with us for 15, maybe 20 years if we're lucky. They're not just animals – they're our morning routines, our sources of comfort, the ones who greet us at the door. They deserve a final resting place that reflects the depth of that connection.
