2. Product Information

2.1 Handcrafted Nature

All NUBE urns are handcrafted ceramic pieces made by ceramic artists. Due to the artisanal nature of our products:

  • Each piece is unique and may vary slightly from product photographs.
  • Minor variations in color, texture, and finish are inherent to handmade ceramics.

2.1 Product Categories

  • Standard Collection: Ready-to-ship designs from our curated collections.
  • Custom Orders: Personalized urns created to your specifications with extended production time.

2.3 Product Specifications

Each product listing includes size, capacity, and material information. Please carefully review specifications to ensure the urn is appropriate for your needs.

3. Ordering Process

3.1 Order Placement

An order is considered placed when you receive an order confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

3.2 Custom Orders

Custom orders require:

  • Initial consultation via email or phone
  • Approval of design specifications
  • 50% non-refundable deposit before production begins
  • 4-8 weeks production time (unless otherwise specified)

3.3 Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are listed in EUR and do not include VAT.
  • Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
    Full payment is required before shipping (except custom orders with deposit arrangement).

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Shipping Areas

We ship internationally from Prague, Czech Republic. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are displayed during checkout.

4.2 Delivery Times

  • Standard Collection: 3-7 business days for processing + shipping time.
  • Custom Orders: 4-8 weeks production + shipping time.
  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to customs processing.

4.3 Shipping Responsibility

  • We carefully package all urns to ensure safe transit.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.
  • International customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees.

4.4 Tracking

You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.

5. Returns and Cancellations (EU Consumer Rights)

5.1 Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

Under EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product without giving any reason.
To exercise this right:

  • Notify us within 14 days of delivery via email.
  • Return the product in original condition within 14 days of notification.
  • Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
  • We will refund your payment within 14 days of receiving the returned product.

5.2 Exceptions to Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does NOT apply to:

  • Custom-made products created to your specifications.
  • Products that have been personalized with names, dates, or custom elements.
  • Products that have been used or are not in original condition.

5.3 Cancellations Before Shipping

  • Standard orders can be cancelled before shipping begins.
  • Custom orders: Only the deposit (50%) is non-refundable once production has started.

6. Warranty and Defects

6.1 Warranty Period

We warrant that products are free from defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from date of purchase (as required by EU law).

6.2 Reporting Defects

  • Inspect your urn immediately upon receipt
  • Report any damage or defects within 7 days of delivery
  • Provide photographs of the damage or defect

6.3 Our Responsibility

If a product arrives damaged or defective, we will:

  • Replace the product at no charge, or
  • Provide a full refund, including original shipping costs

6.4 Exclusions

The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper care
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage during return shipping (customer's responsibility)

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or emotional damages.
  • This does not affect your statutory rights under EU consumer protection law.

8. Intellectual Property

All product designs, photographs, and content on our website are protected by copyright and belong to NUBE. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our images or designs without written permission.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and EU consumer protection regulations.

10.2 Alternative Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with how we handle any complaint, you may refer your complaint to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

10.3 Jurisdiction

For consumers within the EU, any disputes may be brought in the courts of your country of residence or the Czech Republic.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
